Frequently asked questions
On the day, you will be guided around all of Angels Costumes departments. You’ll learn about the heritage of the business, see how costumes are made and journey through over 10 miles of hanging costumes.
We recommend comfortable shoes as you will be on your feet throughout. There are not rest stops along the tour
The tour can last approximately two hours and there are no rest breaks or stoppages.
Spaces are limited to 15 people per tour.
Photography and videos are only permitted in two areas. These will be highlighted to you during the tour.
By car, use the postcode NW9 6AA. Please park in the Angels Costumes car park, not Angels Fancy Dress.
By train, Angels Costumes is a five minute walk from Hendon train station. Turn right out of the station along the A504, then right again down Wilberforce Road. Walk to the end of the road and Angels Costumes is opposite.
Since the tour takes place in a working, multi-level environment, it is not suitable for children under the age of fourteen.
Wheelchair users are welcome. Please let us know in advance if you or a member of your group is a wheelchair user.
This can usually be arranged although we may charge for special requests. Please let us know in advance if you want to see something specific.
The tour is not designed for research trips. We offer a separate research service for fashion houses and students. Email info@angels.co.uk for more information about this.
